It’s absolutely heartbreaking.  Too many of you are living for safety and not creating the lives and businesses you really want.

Everything you want is possible.  You can’t even have a desire without the way to achieve it being available to you.  If you study the Laws of the Universe you know this to be true.  God does not create anything that is not a whole, and the other half of a desire is the means for achieving it.

So any desire you have for your life or your business IS possible.  IF you take the proper action to cause it.

But here’s the catch.

If you do not take risks, you will not get what you want.

Your need for safety is your #1 enemy as you move toward what you want.

What you want for yourself will involve risks.  Some examples of the risks you may have to take are:

The risk that someone close to you will not understand what you are doing.
The risk that potential clients may say no.
The risk that potential clients may get mad at you when you are so committed to their success that you’ll say anything to wake them up.
The risk of making an investment in yourself or your business when you don’t yet know how you’ll pay for it.
The risk that not everyone on this planet will like you or what you are doing.
The risk that you may outgrow some of the people in your life.

I could go on and on here!  But I think you get the idea.

You’ve all heard the saying, “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.”  And you probably understand it intellectually.  But true understanding requires you to actually experience it by living it.  Where are you falling short of that?

What if the business and meaning and clients and money you want are just on the other side of the risk you are afraid to take?

Are you willing to give up your dream for your fear?

The irony here is that what your analytical mind is calling safety is not safe at all.  The job that you’re hanging onto because you’re afraid to fully step into your own business is not secure.  People in “secure” jobs get laid off every day.  The money you’ve worked your whole life for and have squirreled away could disappear instantly if just one institution makes one mistake with it or your unhappiness makes you so sick that you need it to pay for medical bills.

The safety that you use as your excuse not to take actions toward your dreams is a complete and total illusion.

What if the only true safety you can have is taking the risks you need to take to create the life and business you truly desire?  And what if God and the entire world are just waiting for you to make that choice?

Deep breaths.

Deep inside you know the truth.  Everything you want is entirely possible.  But you have to choose to move forward on it.  You must step forward in faith.  And you must take the risks that others are not willing to take.
